Hot clone PDB to PDB is quick and easy to provision with only a few steps. The overall migration backbone is the database link, hence it is not recommended for huge databases. It works for a few hundred databases where the bandwidth is good between source and target.
Ensure the database is in Archive log mode and LOCAL_UNDO_ENABLED is set to TRUE.
Staging Server: Create the User and grant the privileges.
Create the TNS Entry and test the connectivity from Staging to Production.
Create the database link and test the connection
Now create the pluggable database using the DB link and open the pluggable database.
