In our previous blog, we have completed the configuration of connections, grouping and creating the job. in this blog post we will cover how to run the job, monitoring the jobs, Reviewing reports, Source and Target Table comparision etc.
We already have job created with the name GGJOB and we already mapped the source and target tables for the data validation and comparision.
Below we can see the Job details and linked groups as well.
On the right hand side, we have the option to run the job. After initiating the veridata server connectsto the source data source AVUKWEB and target data source AVUKWEB and reads the data.
After submitting the job, now we can see the job is running and we can view the duration of the job so far.
After the job completion, we can click on the job name “GGJOB” and we can view whole summary whether the data is in Sync or not, if any canceled or failed comparision it does shows.
Based on our data we can confirm that all the tables data is in sync with no failures, Now we can check the table wise whether they are in sync or not.
We can also observe the performance stats of the each table by clicking on the pair name
In the previous image, each table has its own report. If we click on report for EMPLOYEES table we can view various options and we can also download the report as well.
We will review the Sort statistics and it is comparing with both source and target rows, bytes etc.
In the same report if there are any out of sync, it shows as well
Veridata definitely smart product to validate customer data comparision between source and target to have solid confidence.
